Introducing DynaWAN from WAN Dynamics

WAN Dynamics launch video. Published 6 April 2016.

WAN Dynamics was about two months old when we put this out. DynaWAN was the name of our managed SD-WAN service, and the idea behind it was the one we built the company on: pick best-of-breed SD-WAN platforms for the job rather than forcing every customer onto one, and integrate them into a cloud-ready, enterprise-grade WAN that we would run for them.

At launch that meant VeloCloud, Bigleaf and Talari. VeloCloud became the platform we did most of our work on for the next eight years. Talari has a place in that story too: it was one of the first real SD-WAN platforms, and VeloCloud's chief architect came from there before moving the control plane out of the boxes and into the cloud.

It is a short company promo from a very early startup, and it reads that way. I keep it here because it is where the decision to leave my job and start WAN Dynamics became something with a name.
