Now-New
US Networking User Association (USNUA)
The US Networking User Association is the project I'm spending the most time on. We're building a vendor-neutral community for working network engineers with regional in-person meetups, discussion forums, a peer-reviewed content track and a small library of independent technical research. If you've ever felt like the existing user groups are too vendor-controlled or too academic, this is the alternative we're building.
Consulting
I'm being intentional about taking on engagements where I can ship something concrete in say a quarter and also retainer based engagements. If you're a CEO, CIO, CTO or VP/Director of Engineering who needs to move on a network problem and your team is at capacity, please get in touch.
Writing
The 2026 essay series is focused on the operational implications of AI in the network. Three drafts in flight: one on incident-response automation, one on the infrastructure economics of model serving, and one on what "self-driving network" actually means once you strip the marketing off. Subscribe and you'll get them as they ship.
